Maybe its just me? But I can’t think of ANYWHERE in Lancaster, maybe even the whole of Lancashire (???) that’s more grand & imposing than to have your Wedding at than the Ashton Memorial, Williamson’s Park, Lancaster – can you?

So you can imagine how DELIGHTED I was as a Lancaster Wedding Photographer to be Booked to photograph the Wedding of Katie & David here; and the MEGA BONUS is that its just 1/2 mile from where I live 🙂

I’ll cut straight to the chase here… this post is about showing some FAB photos of Katie & David that I took at their Ashton Memorial Wedding; but then also as their Wedding Reception was just as few miles away at Abbeystead Village Hall

So my first galleries are just going to be of our B&G sessions (B&G means Bride & Groom, just in case you missed that lol); then I’ll show more of what fun everyone had at both venues

There’s going to be a LOT of photos here, but then they did receive nearly 900 !!! YES – their Wedding was was THAT GOOD 🙂

Oh, and if you think Katie looks FABULOUS, then you’d be right, and that’s defo partly due to her stunning Maggie Sottera gown as provided by the lovely ladies of The Bridal Collection – where you can arrange to visit their Lancaster Bridal shop at 20 New Street, Lancaster; and if you’d like to see more and join their 12,000+ Followers (impressive!) of their Facebook Page you can do so by clicking HERE

Right then – time for photos…

And so a bit more writing!

So what follows next are photos showing the Pre-Ceremony arrivals & fun, the Wedding Ceremony itself, and then it was pretty much a case of sending the Guests off to Abbeystead Village Hall, while I took Katie & David for their photosession in the stunning grounds

I’d never been to Abbeystead Village Hall prior to Katie & David’s Ashton Memorial Wedding, but what a lovely place to hire for any larger event. The team on hand were most helpful, but its really a large space you, and your venue dressers/caterers, etc. can really work together on to make your own

The weather was very much on ours side; the Speeches hilarious; and the evening started with the stunning vocals of a local lass (err sorry, I’ve idea who!); and my time ended shortly after a very funny & great Mad-ician (see what I did there?) had everyone intrigued and in stitches (nope – no idea who he was either)

All in all this has proven that my LOVE of being a Lancaster Wedding Photographer is well founded, and as I believe I’m now on (or will be shortly on) the Supplier list as an Ashton Memorial Wedding Photographer, I can only look forward to doing it many MANY more times

So if you like what you’ve seen here, and wish to have a chat about be being your Wedding Photographer, please CONTACT ME to discuss (that was a link btw)

Speak soon, David

PS – LOTS more photos will follow…
