Hi, I'm David (Dave) and I'm LOVING life from my base as a Lancaster Wedding Photographer.
But then who wouldn't LOVE to go to 'work' in beautiful places surrounded by love & joy and lots of happy people EVERY time you go to work.
Where do I prefer to Photograph Weddings? Well, as I now live in Lancaster, I guess I'd have to say Lancaster! What with its Castle and the amazing Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park its a stunning place to shoot Weddings.
Other than Lancaster, then I mostly shoot in the stunning Lake District.
Its beautiful, relaxing, escapist, fun and it attracts like-minded 'outdoorsy' folk like me – and who wouldn't want to have their Wedding photographed in England's most beautiful region = PERFECT.
Capturing Wedding Stories – YOUR Wedding Story – gives me an incredible feeling of satisfaction that I've never found doing ANYTHING else ANYWHERE else.
Oh, and yes some other stuff... I'm one of only a handful of Professionally Qualified full-time Wedding Photographers covering this area, with over 11 years experience, gaining Distinctions variously from the Guild of Photographers, the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers and the Royal Photographic Society.
I also love to 'give back' too, so I've served for the Yorkshire Photographic Union as both a Judge & Lecturer and this is something I expect to be doing for the Lancs. equivalent photography body shortly too.
