Last year, 2024, I was invited to document in photos our local Hospice’s “Moonlight Walk”, a fund-raising event in memory of loved ones no longer with us
I didn’t really know what to expect, but after some setting up shots and chatting to everyone we all waited for the walkers to arrive
First in was a young woman who probably cheated and ran a bit lol
Then they came in droves! Most wearing their green charity t-shirts, but many with silly hats, glasses etc. too
Watching them pin their loved one’s names on the board was both fun & emotional; but in 45 mins it was all over!
After sending in my photos I received this lovely message…
