Last Thursday’s Wedding was back at the stunning St George’s Hall, Liverpool, but with an unusual start with Prep (what we Wedding Photographers call ‘Getting Ready’) at the amazing Titanic Hotel just a couple of miles away
This was my first time at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool, and OMG is it amazeballs! Laura’s bedroom was MASSIVE – not only was it larger than any suite I’ve ever been in before, but the ceilings were also (maybe) 16ft high! And with large windows flooding light into the room too it made for some perfect Prep lighting
Laura wasn’t an overly fussy Bride, and even spent part of Prep working on her sister’s Bridesmaid’s dress – hence the ironing shots lol
We were in for a bit of a surprise when we arrived at St George’s Hall though as the Christmas market had blocked off every attractive area for post Ceremony photos!
Well, I do LOVE a challenge lol
And so, post Ceremony and a few Group photos just outside the main entrance, it was back to the Titanic Hotel for Bride & Groom shots
As a further challenge, it was already just past sunset when we arrived back at the Titanic Hotel, so I ushered them straight outside for some photos by the waterside
Mark did appear at times to be having more fun as he was howling with laughter, but maybe that was partly as he wasn’t COLD
Anyway, after a mere 3-hours with them it was time for me to leave, and for them to party prior to leaving on Honeymoon for a cruise the day after
Speaking of the day after – the weather has been so crap in Lancaster that my outdoor plans were binned in favour of editing these Wedding photos, and so just 3 days later I’ve been able to deliver their 400+ memories for them at both PRINTABLE & WEB USE ONLY resolution
Pretty quick eh? I’m defo NOT one of these daft photographers that say it’ll take 6-8 weeks for delivery! And one local to me promises within 12-weeks! 12-weeks FFS – ridiculous!
As you can see, I had my ‘Titanic’ Black & White head on too for many of these photos, but the B&G session on the waterside at the Titanic Hotel just SCREAMED for colour
LOVE this job!
