Not every Wedding needs 8-12 hours of coverage. Some Brides don’t want their transformation from pyjama babe to Bridal princess recording, usually as they refuse to be photographed without make-up lol
Helen (Smith-to-be) was clearly a bit braver than many! So I started with her and a few young Bridesmaids, who were much more into being photographed – mostly selfies and pulling funny face or ‘V’ signs
Paul (Smith – but not THE Paul Smith) looked dapper too, if a little nervous
Lakes Hotel & Spa is not only a wonderful hotel in a FAB location, being only 500m or so from the banks of lake Windermere, but they go one step further than ANY other Lakes’ hotel in not only encouraging a trip to the lake for photos, but providing a chauffeur driven Bentley for it too !!! How cool is that
Helen & Paul’s Wedding was what’s often described as ‘intimate’, meaning there’s not many Guests in attendance, and its all about being relaxed and chilled
To this end they didn’t want a lot of fuss with photos either, so it was pretty much
- some getting ready photos
- the Ceremony
- nipping off in the Bentley for a few lakeside photos, and
- a few of them chilling with their family & Guests
Job done in slightly under 3-hours, meaning this Lancaster Wedding Photographer was on his way home easily in time for tea = perfect
And so, to a taste of what we got up to, not the best of weather but who cares…
